OVERVIEW

About the book

On a snowy day in February a stranger arrives at the Coach and Horses inn in the village of Iping. He is wrapped from head to foot, his face hidden behind bandages and dark glasses, and he wants to be left alone with his bottles and his experiments. The villagers soon start to talk. Money goes missing, furniture moves by itself and the stranger’s temper grows worse. When the truth comes out it is only the beginning. H. G. Wells published The Invisible Man in 1897, a tense story about a brilliant man whom his discovery sets free from every rule.
